“We Are Maersk” Corporate Movie Launch

Maersk appointed Synaptic Digital’s media team to invite journalists from Trade and Business media outlets to attend the world premiere in London of Maersk’s new corporate movie “We are Maersk,” which was directed by Christoffer Boe, the winner of the Golden Camera award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003.

The event took place in London on the 8th of February and 16 journalists whom the media relations team invited attended the event. During the evening, Synaptic Digital’s team arranged interviews for key spokespeople from Maersk with media outlets such as Reuters, Fairplay, Food and Beverage, Ultimamedia and Shipping Guide.

The event was a great success and even the day after the movie premiere the media relations team received request from outlets such as Bloomberg who wanted to receive the movie material, press release etc.

A corporate movie world premiere just the way it should be!

Content provider thenewsmarket.com has received a big makeover, moving a lot of its storage to the cloud for faster downloads, says its maker Synaptic Digital. Both journalists and brands can access the site for video, B-roll, and other content from all over the world. The content covers the gamut, from former Taliban on peacekeeping missions, to earning reports and Super Bowl highlights.

P&G ‘Thank You Mom’ Campaign Launch

P&G launched their ‘Thank You Mom’ campaign for London 2012 and revealed their financial commitment to invest in sports worldwide from Innsbruck, host city for the Youth Olympic Games. During the press conference, Synaptic Digital streamed live video interviews into the room from Olympic athletes – Roger Federer in Melbourne and Paula Radcliffe in Kenya.

We conducted a cross platform media relations exercise which included the placement of the live stream of the press conference on news websites and also placing live interviews on international TV networks. As a result 5 separate interviews with Marc Pritchard, P&G’s Global Marketing Officer were placed on TV Networks including CNN International, RBC TV and CNBC reaching a global audience of millions. The full press conference was also hosted by several websites including the Times of India which is the most widely read English language newspaper in the world, De Telegraaf in the Netherlands and Die Press in Austria. We also streamed the entire event to P&G’s European media event in London.

In the days leading up to the announcement, Synaptic Digital produced content around a luncheon and pampering session organised by P&G, bringing some of the athletes’ Moms to Innsbruck to thank them personally.
