The 2012 Summer Olympic Games was the most ambitious exercise ever undertaken in the UK in peacetime with around 800,000 spectators, 14,000 athletes and the capital firmly in the global media’s spotlight with more than 20,000 journalists descending on the UK and many thousands more covering the stories from afar.
This too was Synaptic Digital’s most productive Olympics since we launched at the Sydney Games and we are proud to have supported some of the official global 2012 sponsors and organisations during their Olympic journey and supported the thousands of media with their news creation requirements.

The Olympics 2012 beat on thenewsmarket.com aggregated content for journalists and influencers and provided Olympic related footage (exceeding 30,000 videos and still images) to over 800 media outlets worldwide, 67% of which were TV broadcasters.
