9/11 Observance Through Good Deeds

The 9/11 Day Observance was originally created in 2002 by David Paine, with his friend Jay Winuk in an attempt to bring some good out of the tragedy.

For the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, President and Co-founder of MyGoodDeed Inc., David Paine, was able to chat with Oprah Radio’s Gayle King with the help of Synaptic Digital’s state-of-the-art Audio Services department. As the spokesperson for a radio media tour, Paine relaxed in our midtown Manhattan radio studio as our team of producers connected him to major market radio stations throughout the U.S. He spoke about his hopes of transforming September 11 into one of the largest days of charitable service in United States history – 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. We also connected the Co-founders to television stations across the country to spread the message even further.

Individuals were also encouraged to post their own tributes and charitable efforts on the organization’s website 911day.org.
