Synaptic Digital Veteran Abramovich Takes Over Day-to-Day Leadership; Lonergan advances to Chairman of the Board

NEW YORK – September 12, 2011 – Synaptic Digital, the world’s premier multichannel digital media creation and distribution platform, today announced Jim Lonergan is stepping up to Chairman of the Board while current Chief Operating Officer, Nick Abramovich, assumes the Chief Executive Officer position for the company.

“Coming from, I was able to leverage my experience with public companies to help acquire Medialink Worldwide and build Synaptic Digital,” said Lonergan. “As Chairman I can concentrate on a more strategic level, including growing our global footprint across the US, Europe and China.”

As Lonergan shifts his attention to an advisory level, Abramovich, a six year company veteran, expands his day-to-day responsibilities.

“By integrating Medialink and The NewsMarket we have successfully positioned Synaptic Digital to take advantage of the increased importance of multichannel video,” said Abramovich. “As CEO I will continue to focus on the details of helping our global customers’ tell their stories across earned, owned and paid media channels.”
