Business Wire, Davis & Gilbert, EVENTSTYLE, Option A Advisors & Synaptic Digital join to support Council’s work and mission
NEW YORK, NY, October 25, 2010 – The Council of Public Relations Firms (Council) today announced its charter Premier Partners: five leading service providers to the public relations industry whose thought leadership, practical experience and financial support will further the Council’s mission to advance the interests of its 100-plus member firms nationwide, and the pubic relations profession overall.
The Council’s Premier Partners are best-in-class experts: Business Wire, the Berkshire Hathaway-owned leader in press release distribution; Davis & Gilbert, the preeminent law firm for marketing communications companies; EVENTSTYLE, an international experience design and event production agency; Option A Advisors, a consultancy focused on helping agency principals realize full enterprise value; and Synaptic Digital, the leading global media solutions provider, formed through the integration of The NewsMarket and Medialink.
Through white papers developed exclusively for Council membership, webinars marrying industry-wide perspective and practical advice, expert counsel in bellwether Council publications like the Issues Monitoring Report, and other vehicles of deep relevance and interest, the Council’s first-ever partners will make important contributions to its member firms’ knowledge base and employees’ professional development. The term of each partnership runs through 2011.
“We couldn’t ask for a more talented, more diverse and more enthusiastic group of inaugural partners to help advance the Council’s mission,” said Kathy Cripps, president of the Council of Public Relations Firms. “PR firms today stand at a critical, energizing moment, with new opportunities and challenges that make our work all the more vital. Our partners’ support and expertise are new and important means enabling us to help our membership thrive.”
The Council will officially introduce the partners to a nationwide audience of members this Wednesday at the Critical Issues Forum, the Council’s centerpiece, annual event, at The New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan. Marc Pritchard, Global Marketing & Brand Building Officer for Procter & Gamble, and Ali Velshi, CNN’s Chief Business Correspondent, will headline an A-list roster of speakers and panelists, leading discussions geared to helping firms navigate and prosper in an increasingly integrated world.
